Blair is the State Member of Parliament for the electorate of Wright in Adelaide’s North Eastern suburbs. He is passionate about his community and fights hard to improve education, healthcare and other services for local families. Blair lives in the North Eastern suburbs with his wife Catherine and their three daughters, he is involved in many local community groups, sporting groups and frequently attends Jubilee Way Park Run on Saturday Mornings.
Fighting for better education
Blair is Labor’s Minister for Education. He knows that accessible and affordable education that is of a high standard is key to improving equality and helping all people live fulfilling lives. Blair fights hard to improve education in South Australia in the interests of students, parents and teachers.
Building a skilled workforce
Blair is Labor’s Minister for Training and Skills. He believes it is essential that the workforce in South Australia is equipped with the skills industry needs today, and in the future. Blair knows that a skilled and diverse workforce attracts new businesses to our state, lowers unemployment and grows wages and the economy, and is working hard to advocate for improved training and increased apprenticeship opportunities in South Australia.
